Elaine Salewske

Elaine Salewske is a corporate sustainability professional leading the development of sustainable strategies that are good for both business and society. Elaine’s Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) expertise spans communications, marketing, strategy, and business continuity. She’s held senior roles at Baxter, Baxalta, Shire and Takeda Pharmaceuticals.

Elaine has proven success driving multi-stakeholder collaborations to proactively address risks, create value and improve a company’s bottom line by embedding sustainable principles into business strategy at global corporations. Elaine has been recognized for a continual focus on making a difference in her local and global communities including creating Takeda’s first Global DE&I Council. She serves on the Executive Council for the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, and the California Lutheran University School of Management Advisory Council.

Elaine earned her BA in Journalism and Mass Communication at Iowa State University and her MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in international business. Elaine resides in Los Angeles with her husband, two children and rescue pup.
