Peter Ban is an executive leader and operations expert innovating, executing, and scaling solutions at high profile Tech and Media companies for more than 25 years. He has held P&L responsibility at multi-billion-dollar companies, mid-sized businesses, and small start-ups, including both subscription-based and advertising supported businesses.

Peter has significant experience leading global teams to make impact across various functions, including Operations, Sales & Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, Trust & Safety, and Legal.

At Facebook, Peter created operations both to protect the company’s high-profile partners and enable company compliance with laws around the world. Peter’s team was recognized by the Ukrainian government for their work protecting government leaders and its citizens during wartime.

At HBO, Peter led the national rollout of HBO GO (via U.S. cable companies) – the company’s first streaming service that set industry standards – and reversed a negative five-year HBO/MAX subscriber trend delivering the highest subscriber growth the company had seen in 34 years.

Peter’s leadership philosophy and actions consistently earn him the highest employee “pulse” ratings and enable him to maintain the highest employee retention rates.

Peter is active in the community as well. He is an award-winning volunteer building schools and creating jobs for individuals with Autism. He is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Georgetown University Law Center (his alma mater), and a former Board Member of the USA Diving Team. At Meta, Peter has been the Executive Sponsor of both the Latin@ and Disabilities@ employee resource groups.

Peter earned is undergraduate degree at Georgetown University where he played rugby, and law degree at Georgetown University Law Center. Peter lives with his wife and four children who are active in lacrosse, springboard diving, and “open mic” nights singing and playing guitar at local pubs.
